Our filmmaking classes are designed to introduce students, Grades 6-12, to the fundamental skills and techniques needed to write, produce, and direct their own films. Through film production, animation, and workshops dedicated to specific skills (directing, lighting, or sound), any student can learn the critical elements of film production.
Fundamentals for Grades 6-12:
These fast-paced, comprehensive courses lay the foundation for any serious filmmaker looking to create their own project. Students learn how to use our state-of-the-art equipment to practice the concepts and techniques to create visual storytelling projects.

Intensive classes for Grades 6-12:
These classes are for students who have already taken part in one of IStage’s filmmaking courses and want to learn more about specific aspects of film production. Students will gain knowledge and insight into specific roles, learning terminology, techniques, and theory associated with the specialized practice.

Film Acting (Grades 4-12)
Throughout the school year and summer, acting classes specifically for film work help train young actors in acting techniques for television and film.
