Dance
Imagination Stage offers fun, non-competitive dance classes for students of all levels and abilities, meeting the needs of dancers at every stage of their physical and mental development.
Dance classes help young children improve their coordination, gain important social skills, and explore their own creativity. For older students, dance classes are essential for the well-rounded professional stage performer, choreographer, and musical theatre performer. Imagination Stage encourages all theatre performers to take dedicated technique classes in dance as well as acting and singing.
Introductory Dance Classes for students Age 3-5, Grades K-3:

Intensive Dance Theatre Programs for students Grades 6-12:
Dancers with an interest in a more intensive dance training environment can look to the following programs for a more focused application of ballet, modern, and jazz styles. These classes are for students with previous dance experience who are looking to focus on dance as the sole art form.
- Dance Academy: Intro to Technique and Choreography (Grades 6-12). This year long dance training program focuses on essential dance technique in the styles of ballet, jazz, and modern technique, as well as focus on improving overall strength and stamina.
- IStage Dance Theatre (Grades 8-12). This performance program is designed for students with a strong foundation in dance. Dancers build upon techniques of contemporary ballet and modern dance which are then applied to composition and choreography work. This program is a two-semester commitment with the spring semester culminating in a performance in the Reeve Studio Theatre. (Audition or Approval required)
