New Touring Performances of “Mouse on the Move”

Imagination Stage’s Theatre for the Very Young production, Mouse on the Move, is now on tour and heading to Howard County! Our interactive production will be at the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway Columbia, MD 21044. Six performances are scheduled for Thursday, April 11 through Sunday April 14.

After its winter run at Imagination Stage, Mouse on the Move previously toured to the Atlas Performing Arts Center in Washington, D.C. for a set of March weekend performances. It moves to Howard County to give families north of our Bethesda location an opportunity to see this joyous and imaginative show!

Written and directed by Janet Stanford and Kathryn Chase Bryer, with music by Tim Guillot, Mouse on the Move tells the story of Nellie and Amelia, two adventurous mice ready to explore the world beyond their little mouse-hole. They decide to go to the moon since it is cat-free and made entirely of delicious, mouth-watering cheese (so they have heard). In this multi-sensory experience, children receive a small suitcase of props with which they help the actors tell the story.
The show is designed for children ages 1-4.
