Summer Camps - Theatre Arts - Imagination Stage

ARTS EXPLORER & ARTS ADVENTURE CAMPS

(AGES 3.5- RISING GRADE 2)

BETHESDA LOCATION

Imagination Stage offers 1 or 2 week half-day camps for campers ages 3.5-K (Arts Explorer) and those entering 1st and 2nd grade (Arts Adventure). Using a variety of titled themes as springboards campers explore creative drama, music, movement, and visual art activities to bring stories to life.

Camps run from June 8 – August 21, 2020.

WEEK-LONG CAMPS

(RISING GRADES 3-5, 6-8, AND 8-12)

BETHESDA LOCATION

Our popular Week-Long Camps allow parents and campers to mix and match what interests them most! Camps run from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 12:30-3:30 p.m. and cover a variety of topics in acting, musical theatre, and dance. Campers can register for a morning session, an afternoon session, or combine morning and afternoon sessions for a full-day experience.

Camps run from June 8 – August 21, 2020.

ACTING & MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVES

(RISING GRADES 7-10 AND 8-12)

BETHESDA LOCATION & AMERICAN UNIVERSITY

Our week-long intensives provide short but immersive experiences in a wide variety of performance areas, such us scene study, musical theatre, physical comedy, stage combat, and devised theatre. Intensives work towards a sharing of work in a showcase style by the end of the week!

Imagination Stage in Bethesda: Camps run June 29 – August 21, 2020
Imagination Stage at American University: Camps run June 15 – 26, 2020 

BEFORE-CARE 

7:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m.

AFTER-CARE 

3:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

BETHESDA LOCATION

 

Extended care consists of supervised free time. Imagination Stage provides art supplies, games and a tv/dvd player. Campers may bring books or music if they choose to have more solitary pursuits after a long day of fun and creativity.

 

Please note availability varies by week. Before and After-care is not available at camps at American University.
