Imagination Stage offers 1, 2, 3, and 4-week long Summer camps for ages 3.5-18, at our main theatre in Bethesda and also in Rockville and Northwest DC.

ONLINE ARTS CAMPS

(AGE 3.5 – RISING GRADE 12)

 

After a full year of developing and refining our methods of providing online arts education, we are excited to continue offering online summer programming along with our return to in-person camps. Our one-week offerings are developed specifically for the online format and encourage students to build community and expression while having fun through distance learning.

IN-PERSON THEATRE ARTS CAMPS

(AGE 3.5 – RISING GRADE 12)

 

Younger campers explore theatre and storytelling through the world of play, while older students explore the worlds of acting and musical theatre, applying more advanced, specialized training. All classes, regardless of age, foster personal growth, teamwork, and creativity.

IN-PERSON FILMMAKING CAMPS

(RISING GRADES 5-12)

 

Imagination Stage offers its filmmaking program in a unique and comprehensive camp environment. Young filmmakers are placed in small teams to complete short narrative films from concept to final cut. Emphasis is placed on the fundamentals and process of filmmaking: story analysis, pre-production techniques, composition, cinematography, editing, and sound.

ACCESSIBILITY
Our building, theatres, and classrooms are designed to be accessible. 

 

Accessible parking is available in the Public Parking garage adjacent to the theatre (metered M–F). There is an automatic door at our main entrance on Auburn Avenue and accessible restrooms and water fountains are available.
