HOW IMAGINATION STAGE IS KEEPING YOU SAFE
Thorough Cleaning and Disinfecting: All common areas and restrooms will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with CDC- and EPA-approved disinfectants before, during, and after each camp session.
Increased Ventilation and Air Purification: HVAC systems will be circulating fresh outside air at all times, and HEPA air purifiers have been added to smaller rooms and restrooms.
Smaller Camp Size: Total number of campers is limited to only one group of ten students per camp day, with two teachers supervising. Students will have no close contact with any other individuals during their time in the building.
Masks, Distancing, and Hand-washing: All staff, artists, and visitors will be required to wear masks, practice social distancing, and wash hands hourly while in the building.
Reduced Capacity: Imagination Stage is being physically staffed by only those individuals essential to the operation of the building and its programming; all administrative staff are working remotely.
Refunds: Students who show symptoms of COVID-19 or whose families may have been exposed to someone showing symptoms should not attend camp. Families may withdraw their students from these camps at any time and receive a full refund of tuition.
WHAT TO BRING
Water Bottle. Use of water fountains will be limited to refilling water bottles with the touchless dispenser, so all students should bring a water bottle.
Easy-Open Food Containers. Staff will not be able to assist students in opening food containers, so parents should ensure students can open all containers themselves.
Two Masks. Students should bring two masks to wear throughout the day.
CHECK-IN AND DISMISSAL
Outdoor Check-in and Dismissal: Parents will check in students outside the front entrance of the building. Only enrolled students will be allowed to enter the building. At dismissal, parents should remain inside their vehicle along the curb at the front entrance of the building. An Imagination Stage staff member will walk students to their vehicle at the end of the camp day.
Symptom Screening: Before students are allowed in the building, parents will need to certify that the students and no one in their household have exhibited symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days. A staff member will take the temperature of each student with a touchless thermometer to ensure that they do not currently have a fever above 100.4° F.
Shared classroom items will be limited and students will be given individual classroom materials whenever possible.
Assigned areas for personal belongings: Students should keep their personal belongings (lunch, water bottle, jacket, etc.) in assigned areas and respect the space of others.
Students will be expected to:
Maintain physical distancing of 6 ft. or greater wherever possible.
Wear a mask. Cloth face-coverings must be worn at all times during camp and while in the building, except while eating or drinking.
Work independently without physical one-on-one support.
Wash hands hourly. Students and employees must wash hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water every hour they work in the building and after contact with shared classroom items.
Increase physical distancing when eating and drinking. Students will take meal breaks outside or at individual tables in the Gallery, which will be spaced 12 feet apart or more.
