Spend a Day in the Life with Imagination Stage Staff Members!

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at Imagination Stage? Or what it would be like to be a staff member here for a day?

We are excited to announce Day in the Life, our new video series, which will provide a peek behind the curtain into the inner workings of Imagination Stage. Each Day in the Life episode will be an (approximately) ten-minute, documentary-style exploration into a particular staff member’s work day. The series will follow staff from departments including Patron Services, Education, Theatre for Change, Production, and more, as they prepare for performances, teach classes, and engage in all the exciting work impacting children in our community.

Episode One debuts on Friday, October 25, 2024 and follows Sam Hoderlein, our Audience Development and Field Trips Manager. In this episode, Sam facilitates two school field trip performances during our 2023-2024 season–one of Inside Out and Backwards for preschool students, and one of Cinderella: A Salsa Fairy Tale for elementary school students. He also details his time working at Imagination Stage, along with his passion for creating joyful experiences for both students and teachers.

If you are interested in going into a career in the arts or simply wonder what makes a performance-based organization tick, Day in the Life is a great opportunity to learn more about the daily goings on at your local theatre for young audiences!
