ARTS EXPLORER & ARTS ADVENTURE CAMPS

(AGES 3.5- RISING GRADE 2)

BETHESDA LOCATION

Imagination Stage offers 1 or 2 week half-day camps for campers ages 3.5-K (Arts Explorer) and those entering 1st and 2nd grade (Arts Adventure). Using a variety of titled themes as springboards campers explore creative drama, music, movement, and visual art activities to bring stories to life.

WEEK-LONG CAMPS

(RISING GRADES 3-5 AND 6-8)

BETHESDA LOCATION

Our popular Week-Long Camps allow parents and campers to mix and match what interests them most! Camps run from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 12:30-3:30 p.m. and cover a variety of topics in acting. Campers can register for a morning session, an afternoon session, or combine morning and afternoon sessions for a full-day experience.

TEEN ACTING & DANCE CAMPS

(RISING GRADES 7-12)

BETHESDA & DC LOCATIONS

Teen Acting and Dance Camps provide students the opportunity to study acting and dance techniques in an intensive setting. Camp topics span foundational acting technique, hip hop, and musical theatre dance. Students work in a small class setting with a professional teaching artist and perform culminating work at the end of the week.

ACTING & MUSICAL THEATRE BOOTCAMPS

(RISING GRADES 8-12)

BETHESDA LOCATION

Bootcamps are more performance-oriented and provide students with an intensive and fun rehearsal and performance experience. Each week is titled to provide a theme that the performers and artistic staff use to envision a Showcase/Revue that is devised, rehearsed, and performed all in one week!

BEFORE-CARE 

7:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m.

AFTER-CARE 

3:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

BETHESDA LOCATION

 

Extended care consists of supervised free time. Imagination Stage provides art supplies, games and a tv/dvd player. Campers may bring books or music if they choose to have more solitary pursuits after a long day of fun and creativity.

 

Please note availability varies by week. Before and After-care is not available at camps at American University.
