Dear Imagination Stage Families,

The health and safety of our patrons, staff, and artists is always of paramount importance to Imagination Stage. In line with recent recommendations from the CDC and state of Maryland, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel or postpone all classes, performances, and events until further notice. During this time, Imagination Stage will be closed to the public.

The following productions and events have been canceled:

– All future performances of Zomo the Rabbit: A Hip-Hop Creation Myth

– All future performances of Thumbelina

– All performances of Paper Dreams

– All Spring Break Camps

– Saturday Song Circle and Sunday Fun-Day on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29

– All second session 6-week Winter/Spring classes

The following productions and events have been postponed. New dates are TBD.

– Metamorphoses, presented by the IStage Performance Ensemble

– 2020 Annual Children’s Festival – Larger Than Life

We are awaiting CDC guidance on best practices for scheduling the remainder of the Winter/Spring class semester. A member of the education team will reach out with more information for your specific class.

If you are a ticket holder or class attendee, a member of the box office will be in touch via email with more information about your event, class, or camp. If you have any questions, please email the box office at [email protected] (preferred). Or you may call and leave a voicemail at 301-280-1660 and a member of our staff will return your call. Please visit imaginationstage.org for updates.

Your support, now more than ever, is vital to keeping our mission alive. During these uncertain times, please consider donating the price of your tickets or registration. Your contribution at this critical time will help us ensure our important programs will be available to the community when this crisis ends and for years to come. Consider donating today.

We thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support during these extraordinary times.
