Perform in a play at Imagination Stage! Under the guidance of our highly skilled Teaching Artists, Arts Express campers learn valuable theatre arts skills in creative drama, singing, movement, and production design, and creating fun characters for the stage, all while rehearsing a production! Musicals for Arts Express are written by Imagination Stage faculty members, and are crafted especially to suit performers of this age group. 4-Week Camp (9:00-3:30) - Before and After-care available

Musical Theatre Production Camp - Grades 5-8

ROCKVILLE
These camps train young performers to understand the actor's process in musical theatre from auditions, to the creation of believable and sustainable characters, to the final performance. Campers work on their acting, vocal, and dance skills which they can then apply to rehearsals with their professional directors and choreographers. 4-Week Camp (9:30-4:00) - Before and After-care available

Summer Musical Showcase

ROCKVILLE & SILVER SPRING
The New Showcase brings campers together to collaborate on a showcase of contemporary Broadway and Popular musical numbers. Campers work on their acting, vocal, and dance skills which they can then apply to rehearsals with their professional directors and choreographers. 2-Week Camp (9:00-3:30). After-care available (Siena).

Interested in carpooling to camps at Imagination Stage and our Summer Theatre Campus? We facilitate carpools by compiling lists of interested families, helping make transportation to and from camp easier! We currently have students registered who live in Bethesda, Silver Spring, Olney, Gaithersburg, and DC. Carpools help campers (and parents!) make new friends, ease transportation time, and help us all go GREEN!
