HIP HOP ANANSI
BEHIND THE SCENES

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT
Warren "Wawa" Snipe : Well, do you know any children’s play that’s related to hip hop? No? There you go.

Patrick Crowley: The show is called Hip Hop Anansi.

Paige Hernandez: It has hip hop, it’s children’s theatre and it’s American sign language.

Keith Brown: Our father’s in danger and we have to help our father by using our skills.

Linden Tailor: I don’t think they’ve ever seen or heard something like this.

Paige Hernandez: It’s fast-paced. It’s funky.

Patrick Crowley: Hype. Exciting. Entertaining. Fun.

Paige Hernandez: It is just a wonderful medium to bring all the components of positive hip hop culture.

Fred Michael Beam: Hip hop culture and sign language – I mean you’re curious – how many people sign and talk and rap? This show – you should come see it!
